Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chandra Rajnahn (ranked 3516 p4p, 23295 weight class) and Charles Foster (ranked 410 p4p, 605 weight class). Foster has chosen Nuclear Power Trio - A Clear and Present Rager as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Chandra Rajnahn has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chandra Rajnahn! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 2 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Charles Foster! The judges for this bout are Steve Montenegro, Reed Andrews and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Foster tries to work over Rajnahn's front leg with a kick but Rajnahn checks it. Rajnahn throws a counter high kick but Foster was just alert enough to avoid it. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Rajnahn!
It looks like Charles Foster has been cut. Foster tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Rajnahn moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Rajnahn goes for a double leg but Foster avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Foster continues to drive forward. Foster blocks a body shot from Rajnahn. Rajnahn tries to throw a body punch but Foster avoids it by throwing Rajnahn back against the cage. Rajnahn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rajnahn will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Foster throws a series of punches but Rajnahn moves out of range. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rajnahn on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Foster should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Foster has Rajnahn up against the cage in a clinch.
Rajnahn escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Rajnahn looks to land a combination but Foster avoids it well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Foster gets tackled into the cage by Rajnahn. Rajnahn maintains the clinch. Foster's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Rajnahn misses with a two punch combination.
Rajnahn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Foster avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Chandra Rajnahn. That's going to take a lot out of him. Foster fails in his attempt to clinch. Rajnahn was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Foster clinches. Rajnahn pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Rajnahn doesn't manage to clinch there - Foster circles away.
Foster gets caught flat footed, as Rajnahn shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Rajnahn throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Foster preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Foster is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rajnahn defends well.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Foster not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Foster working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Rajnahn. Rajnahn throwing strikes but missing. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Foster avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Rajnahn with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Foster looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rajnahn is one step ahead there. Foster has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rajnahn can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Foster told us pre-fight that he has been working on his escapes in training. Let's see if he can call on some of his new skills to get back to his feet. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Foster can do anything to dispel that myth. Foster looks winded! Rajnahn content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Foster is rocked!
Charles Foster's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Charles Foster's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Chandra Rajnahn! Our winner, Chandra Rajnahn, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
