PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mariusz Pudzianowski (ranked 4821 p4p, 5079 weight class) and Braden Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pudzianowski tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it.
Pudzianowski shoots for a takedown but Moore saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Pudzianowski enables Moore to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Pudzianowski manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Moore drops back looking for a leg! Pudzianowski is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pudzianowski manages to kick Moore off! Moore jumps back into Pudzianowski's guard.

Moore advances to half guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Still in half guard, Moore seems content to control.
Let's hope that Moore has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Moore moves nicely into side control.
Pudzianowski is breathing heavily.
Pudzianowski tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Moore presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
Moore tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Pudzianowski is trying to reverse the position but instead Moore has taken his back - oops!

You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Pudzianowski covering up well under a barage of strikes.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Moore controlling the position well here. Pudzianowski rolled but Moore kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Moore working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Pudzianowski is doing well to defend. Moore seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Pudzianowski is forced to tap and this one is over!
