Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Whymer looks to score with a jab to the body but Po is just out of range.
Whymer dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Po. That did some damage!
Whymer with a nice calf kick.
Whymer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.

and Po cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Whymer misses with a low kick.

Whymer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

Whymer swings for the body but Po moves out of range.
Po now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Whymer scores with a hook.
Whymer pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Whymer misses with a jab, cross combination.
Whymer looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Whymer rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Po counters with a stiff right hand.

Po connects with a nice looking jab.
Whymer misses with a body shot
and Po counters with a stiff right hand.

Po sends Whymer crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Po is motioning to the referee to let Whymer up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Whymer is rocked!
Po goes for a small jab and connects. Now Po goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Whymer stumbles back but Po runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Whymer to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Whymer will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Tong Po!
Tong Po is the new light heavyweight champion!
Our winner, Tong Po, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
