Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rahim Shabazz (ranked 1007 p4p, 1074 weight class) and Leif Erikson (ranked 140 p4p, 148 weight class). Erikson has chosen Into Battle - Ensiferum as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shabazz throws a head kick that misses.

Rahim Shabazz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Erikson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Shabazz moves to clinch but Erikson breaks away
and Erikson counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Oh Shabazz is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shabazz tries for a takedown but Erikson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Erikson drops Shabazz with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Shabazz! Erikson dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!
