The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tiramanti throws a shot from downtown. Hilly moves away and avoids it.
Tiramanti lands with a straight right. Hilly didn't see that one coming.
Tiramanti uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hilly.
Tiramanti is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Tiramanti closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Cesare Tiramanti decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
