Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill Cosby (ranked 237 p4p, 660 weight class) and Paul Sight (ranked 26 p4p, 93 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 16 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bill Cosby! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 25 - 25 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Sight! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A left and a right from Sight both land. Nice combination.
It looks like Bill Cosby has been cut. Cosby misses the jab. Cosby seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Cosby sizes up Sight with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Sight scores with a jab. Cosby acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Sight looks to land a right hand but Cosby moved out of range. Sight misses the jab. Cosby ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. The fight moves into the clinch position. Sight takes a shot to the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A right hand to the body from Cosby.
Cosby has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Sight regains guard immediately. Cosby is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Sight wants to stand up but Cosby is controlling him. Cosby stands and throws Sight's legs to the side, diving into side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. The referee asks Cosby politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Cosby prefers to stall for the moment though. Sight is pushing Cosby's head away, looking to escape. Cosby manages to hold on to the position though. A lull in the action here. Sight tries to escape but Cosby is in control. Cosby misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.
Cosby grinds an elbow into Sight's temple. Cosby is putting a hurting on Sight here, landing some big shots from side control. Sight takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Cosby remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sight wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Sight seems a little lost for a moment, as Cosby dominates the positioning. Sight takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Sight is being controlled here. Cosby cracks Sight with an elbow. That is naaassty. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Cosby continues to stall. Sight is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Cosby has just dragged him back down to the mat. Cosby in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Cosby lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Sight down.
Cosby taking a breather here. Cosby is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sight knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Sight is not content to let Cosby control the position. Cosby is staying tight to Sight's torso, preventing him from escaping. Cosby scores with a couple of short elbows. Cosby happy to just control the position for now. Sight is not content to let Cosby control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Sight throws Cosby to one side and escapes! Cosby wants to land a leg kick but Sight is out of range. Sight has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Cosby finds it's way round the side to connect with Sight's head. Paul Sight seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Cosby throws a body shot but no joy. Sight lands with a straight right. Cosby didn't see that one coming. Cosby connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sight momentarily.
Cosby circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Sight to the canvas! Sight doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Cosby keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bill Cosby! Bill Cosby retains his middleweight title! Bill Cosby decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
