McKenna has chosen Santeria- Sublime as his entrance music. Donte McKenna has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with AU ST's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, AU ST!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Donte McKenna!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Skip Squint and Topper Green.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McKenna shoots in and drives through. ST sprawls well.

McKenna gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
McKenna trying to keep a closed guard but ST is proving a slippery customer.

McKenna had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. ST defends it easily.

McKenna is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. ST is aware though and is defending well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McKenna has an active guard here but ST has managed to pass into half guard.

ST is looking for a kimura here.

ST wants to work for an arm triangle but McKenna is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

ST passes into side control, despite McKenna's attempt to control the position.

ST tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no ST has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

McKenna is trying to control ST's posture but ST avoids it.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

McKenna is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
McKenna is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
ST is looking to take a break and control but McKenna is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

McKenna gets back to half guard.
ST working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
McKenna is trying to control but ST manages to pass to mount!
ST knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for McKenna on the ground.
McKenna is working to get back to half guard.
McKenna is still trying to improve position.
ST in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
McKenna felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
McKenna is looking to improve his position but ST isn't that keen on the idea.
McKenna looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back!

ST looking for the choke but no joy.

McKenna defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.
ST lands with a hammerfist to the side of McKenna's head.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
McKenna can't escape the position.

McKenna fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with ST, pushing him back against the cage.
McKenna has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by ST after a bit of a struggle.

ST has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed McKenna clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

ST is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
McKenna looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.

McKenna defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of ST's arms.
ST wants to control but McKenna is keeping busy.

ST is persistently looking for the submission but McKenna is defending it well.

ST is hanging on to McKenna's back as he tries to escape.
ST is trying to stick to McKenna's back but McKenna is turning into ST. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in ST's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by McKenna.
McKenna wants to control from the top but ST keeps moving.

ST is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! McKenna has his hands clasped together but ST extends and breaks McKenna's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by ST.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). AU ST!
During a confident post fight interview, AU ST thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
