Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Henry Rose (ranked 5193 p4p, 5956 weight class) and Jonan Brez (ranked 529 p4p, 565 weight class). Rose comes to the cage accompanied by My House. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Henry Rose! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jonan Brez! The judges for this bout are Damien Edna, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A low kick lands for Brez.
Brez has a takedown stuffed. Brez gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Brez breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Brez gets in close and instigates a clinch. Brez prevents a takedown attempt there.
Rose drags the fight down to the ground.
Brez decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rose misses with a takedown and Brez counters with a left to the body. Rose shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brez as he jumps to the side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Henry Rose. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rose shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Brez as he avoids it easily. Rose tries to close the distance and clinch up but Brez swats him away and circles back towards the center. Brez fails with the takedown and Rose counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Rose tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rose jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Brez walks away with a smile on his face. Rose gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Rose closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Brez throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done! Brez has a takedown stuffed. Rose shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Brez as he jumps to the side. This has been an exciting period of action! Brez dives in and grabs Rose's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rose pushes down on Brez's head and hops out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rose slaps away a takedown attempt from Brez, before circling back to the center of the mat. A lazy body kick from Rose and Brez counters with a takedown into side control. Brez tries to advance to mount but Rose denies him. Rose wants to control but Brez postures up. Brez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Brez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Brez decides to stand back up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rose closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Brez to the mat! Brez manages to get full guard. Brez has his foot on Rose's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rose works his way back into a safe position though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rose stopping the sweep attempt from Brez. Brez is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Rose might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Rose tries to stand but Brez is controlling from the bottom. Rose prevents Brez from getting back to his feet. Brez pulls Rose in close to prevent any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Brez had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rose defends it easily. Brez has his feet on Rose's thighs here. He's pushed Rose off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Rose screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
