Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Boxer (ranked 4225 p4p, 2177 weight class) and Kk Ww (ranked 42 p4p, 20 weight class). Bruce Boxer has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Bruce Boxer! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Kk Ww! The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Marco Blurström and Matti Vanhoillinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Boxer lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Ww looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Ww instigates a clinch. Boxer pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Kk Ww seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Boxer shoots in and drives through. Ww sprawls well. Boxer avoids a punch combination nicely.
Ww has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Boxer closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boxer jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Ww walks away with a smile on his face. Boxer gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Ww fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Boxer avoids it really well and circles away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ww tries a head kick but it misses.
Boxer shoots for a takedown but Ww saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Boxer. That's going to take a lot out of him. Boxer closes the distance and clinches up with Ww, looking for a takedown. Boxer pushes Ww against the cage but Ww circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Boxer moves into the clinch. Boxer stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
That's one minute gone in the round. The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. Our sources have told us that Boxer has been working on his elbows in the gym. Ww prevents a takedown attempt there.
Boxer tries to pull guard but Ww forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Ww has a couple of punches blocked by Boxer.
Boxer has Ww pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ww manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Boxer wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Boxer blocks an uppercut.
Ww misses with the head strike.
Ww has a couple of punches blocked by Boxer.

Boxer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Ww stalling in the clinch but Boxer improves position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Boxer changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Ww fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ww tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Boxer manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Boxer digs a good hook to Ww's body.
Ww tries to clinch but Boxer moves away and Boxer makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Ww stuffs the takedown. Boxer shoots in for a double leg but Ww sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Ww unleashes a big counter combination but Boxer bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Boxer finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Boxer has a takedown stuffed. Ww misses with a kick to the body.
Ww moves into the clinch. Ww misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Boxer has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Ww uses from the top position. Boxer can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ww controls the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Boxer has a closed guard, preventing Ww from standing up. Ww slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Ww stopping the sweep attempt from Boxer. Boxer is looking to stand back up but Ww counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Boxer. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Boxer avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ww. Ww tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Boxer. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Kk Ww dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
Ww closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Boxer pressing his opponent against the cage. Ww gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Boxer.
Boxer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ww fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Ww struggles to land a body shot inside as Boxer controls his hands.

Ww has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Ww swings wildly with an uppercut but Boxer uses good head movement to avoid it. Boxer is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.

Ww let out a lung full of air as it connected. Boxer is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Ww to keep the fight standing. Ww swings away with an uppercut that misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Boxer is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Ww stalling in the clinch but Boxer improves position. Boxer prevents a body shot from Ww. Boxer tries to pull guard but Ww won't allow it.

Kk Ww showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round! A low kick lands for Ww.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Ww gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. The fight stays on the outside here - Ww looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Nice takedown defense from Ww. No joy for Boxer on that attempt. Boxer shoots for a takedown but Ww saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Ww closes the distance and pushes Boxer back into the cage. Come on Boxer - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.

Bruce Boxer has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ww tries to work over Boxer's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
And that's the end of the fight! Kk Ww comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Ww has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
