Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Enzo Williams (ranked 2079 p4p, 2383 weight class) and Lachlan Brodie (ranked 0 p4p, 325 weight class). Brodie has chosen Mama We're All Crazee Now/ Slade as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Williams shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
Nice sprawl there from Brodie as Williams shoots in.
Williams throws a body shot but no joy.
Brodie connects with a single shot there.
Williams seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Brodie misses the jab.
Brodie avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Williams uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Brodie.
Williams takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Williams dives in for a single leg takedown but Brodie sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.

Brodie really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Williams. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Williams is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Brodie has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Brodie!

We've been informed that Brodie has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Brodie must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Williams has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Brodie can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Brodie stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Williams swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Williams has his foot on Brodie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Brodie works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round but I would say that Enzo Williams will probably get the nod.
