Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Felix Inarritu (ranked 307 p4p, 131 weight class) and Ulysses Blazkov (ranked 47 p4p, 20 weight class). Inarritu comes to the cage accompanied by Vulcano. The crowd seem to be enjoying Blazkov's choice of entrance music: Me And The Devil. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 29 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ulysses Blazkov!
The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blazkov has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Inarritu.
Inarritu staying out of range there.

It looks like Felix Inarritu has been cut.
Inarritu tries to land a front kick but Blazkov steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Inarritu misses with a body punch
and Blazkov counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Inarritu lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Blazkov throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Inarritu sees it coming and avoids it easily.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Inarritu lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.
It looks like Ulysses Blazkov has been cut.
Inarritu walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Blazkov checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Blazkov ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Blazkov fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Felix Inarritu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Inarritu is breathing heavily.

and Blazkov counters with a nice right hand that sends Inarritu toppling to the canvas! Inarritu scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Blazkov finish him?!
Inarritu connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

The crowd cheers as Blazkov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Inarritu doesn't seem phased though.
Inarritu fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Blazkov looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Inarritu swings for the body but Blazkov moves out of range.
Blazkov lands a left and a right that send Inarritu crashing to the mat, dazed. Blazkov thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

and Blazkov counters with a left and a right... and another left... and another!! That last one turned off the lights! Inarritu has no idea who he is and is as he gazes up at the spotlights. Brutal knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Ulysses Blazkov!
A very excited looking Ulysses Blazkov made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
