Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bob Barnes (ranked 2622 p4p, 3484 weight class) and Bison Jury (ranked 331 p4p, 415 weight class). Jury has chosen DMX's Intro - It's Dark and Hell is Hot as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Bob Barnes!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bison Jury!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jury tries to clinch there but Barnes circles away.
Jury wants to clinch up but Barnes keeps it at a distance.
Jury misses with a double jab
and Barnes counters with a nice uppercut.
Jury swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Bison Jury seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jury stuns Barnes with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Jury looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
A quick step to the side and Barnes tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Barnes has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Jury throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Jury digs a good body shot into Barnes's ribs.

Jury throws a hook to the side of Barnes's head but Barnes sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Jury throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Jury tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Barnes manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Barnes uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Jury.
Jury tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barnes was well out of range. Poor timing from Jury.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Bob Barnes will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Jury clinches up with Barnes and pushes him back against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Barnes throws a front kick aimed at Jury's knee but Jury avoids it well.
Jury's leg has a nasty welt from taking a succession of leg kicks. That must be slowing him down.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bob Barnes will probably get the nod.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Barnes, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
