Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Miyamoto Musashi (ranked 2597 p4p, 3277 weight class) and Hatake Kakashi (ranked 253 p4p, 311 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Miyamoto Musashi!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hatake Kakashi!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Percy O'Donnell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kakashi slips a jab and a cross from Musashi.
Kakashi is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Kakashi throws a series of punches but Musashi avoids them all with ease.
Musashi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Kakashi changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Kakashi walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Musashi checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

No joy there for Musashi, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kakashi does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Miyamoto Musashi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kakashi swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Kakashi throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A kick lands to the mid section there for Kakashi.

Kakashi doesn't manage to clinch there - Musashi circles away.
Musashi went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Musashi moves out of range of the body kick from Kakashi.

Kakashi uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.

Kakashi shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Kakashi was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Miyamoto Musashi dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Kakashi dives in and grabs Musashi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Musashi pushes down on Kakashi's head and hops out.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Kakashi looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kakashi wants to take a breather but Musashi is having none of it.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Kakashi is trying for a kimura here. Musashi looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Kakashi wins by kimura!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:41 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Hatake Kakashi!
Hatake Kakashi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
Miyamoto Musashi spoke after the fight, saying 'Back to the gym.'.
