Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Damar Sulekov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hanz Hammer!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Yukihiro Yamamoto and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sulekov lands a nice looking body shot.

It looks like Hanz Hammer has been cut.
Sulekov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hammer was covering up waiting for the punch and Sulekov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Hammer looking to hit a scissor sweep but Sulekov is one step ahead there.
Sulekov lands a couple of elbows.
Sulekov trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sulekov throws a big right hand that misses.
Hammer wants to sweep here but Sulekov controlling him for the moment.
Sulekov postures up and lands a big shot to Hammer's brow.

Sulekov throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Hammer works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sulekov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Sulekov passes Hammer's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Sulekov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hammer's head.
Sulekov wants to take a breather but Hammer is having none of it.
Sulekov working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hammer won't allow Sulekov to pass to mount.

Sulekov is nestled in close to Hammer, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Sulekov throwing shots but Hammer is blocking nicely.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Sulekov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Sulekov is trying to control the action in half guard but Hammer is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Hammer really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sulekov. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
