And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Giulio Verme!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jawbreaker with a poor takedown
and Verme counters with a one-two to the body.
Verme tries to clinch there but Jawbreaker circles away.
Jawbreaker feints and then cracks Verme's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Verme down.
Jawbreaker clinches with his opponent.
Jawbreaker breaks the clinch.
Sloppy strikes from Jawbreaker. Those never looked like landing.
Verme tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Verme.
Verme misses with the combination.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Verme lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Verme.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Verme tried to score with a low kick but Jawbreaker checks it.
Verme looks to land a combination but Jawbreaker avoids it well.
Jawbreaker appears to be looking for a counter takedown.

Jawbreaker stuffs the takedown attempt from Verme. Verme gets slowly back to his feet.
Jawbreaker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Verme counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Jawbreaker thinking.
Verme closes the distance and clinches up with Jawbreaker, looking for a takedown. Verme pushes Jawbreaker against the cage but Jawbreaker circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Jeff Jawbreaker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Giulio Verme.
Verme misses with a straight right.
Jawbreaker throws the left hand but Verme avoids the punch easily.
Verme is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
A head kick misses from Jawbreaker.
Jawbreaker drives through and clinches with Verme against the cage.
Jawbreaker drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Verme is fighting to break Jawbreaker's control of his arms but Jawbreaker is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Verme wants to control from the top but Jawbreaker keeps moving.

Jawbreaker looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Verme is defending well. Jawbreaker quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Verme has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Jawbreaker celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
