Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uestus Johnston (ranked 3886 p4p, 23908 weight class) and Brodie Lee (ranked 459 p4p, 597 weight class). Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Clint Eastwood- Gorillaz. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnston manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot.

Johnston sizes up Lee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnston connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet.
Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Johnston knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground.
Lee decides to stand back up.
Johnston catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Johnston throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease.

and Johnston counters with a nice uppercut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

and Johnston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brodie Lee dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnston to the mat! Johnston manages to get full guard.
