Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Uestus Johnston (ranked 3886 p4p, 23908 weight class) and Brodie Lee (ranked 459 p4p, 597 weight class). Johnston comes to the cage accompanied by Clint Eastwood- Gorillaz. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Uestus Johnston! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Brodie Lee! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Yves DeLean.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lee shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Johnston manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Johnston has control of Lee's left arm, preventing Lee from doing any damage. Johnston keeping full guard, as Lee tries to pass. Lee makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Johnston seems keen to control Lee's posture. Johnston keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Johnston looking to hit a scissor sweep but Lee is one step ahead there. Johnston controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee landing with the ground and pound. Johnston is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Johnston on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Johnston tries to get out of the position. Johnston has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Lee postures up in Johnston's guard and throws a big left but Johnston blocks it. Lee trying to control but Johnston is working from the bottom. Lee slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lee stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Decent striking displayed by Johnston there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Johnston connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Johnston fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Lee scores with a takedown into Johnston's guard. Johnston keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully. Lee stands and steps away. Johnston gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Lee has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Lee there as he acknowledges the shot. Lee on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Johnston sizes up Lee with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Lee shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Johnston trying to control from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Johnston is controlling Lee's trapped leg to prevent Lee from advancing to side control. Lee prevents Johnston from improving his position. Johnston is staying active underneath Lee, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Johnston is trying to control but Lee manages to pass to mount!
Lee can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Johnston is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Lee scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Johnston?
Johnston is trying desperately to improve position. Lee is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lee misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lee's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Johnston connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Lee scrambles back to his feet. Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Johnston knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Lee on the ground. Lee decides to stand back up. Johnston catches Lee with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Johnston throws a right hand that Lee ducks under and follows up with a left that Lee also avoids with ease. Lee falls off balance throwing a combination
and Johnston counters with a nice uppercut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lee misses with a combination
and Johnston makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Lee shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Lee was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Brodie Lee dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Lee closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Johnston to the mat! Johnston manages to get full guard. Johnston controlling Lee's posture. This is a sustained period of stalling by Johnston. Johnston tries to land a sweep but no joy. Johnston pulls Lee in close to prevent any damage. Lee slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lee thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. That's one minute gone in the round. Lee controls the position. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Lee working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well. Johnston struggling a bit here. Johnston tries to bench press Lee off him but Lee keeps the position. Lee working the ground and pound but Johnston is defending the strikes. Johnston is trying to control Lee's posture but Lee avoids it. Johnston is trying to work for a sweep but Lee has mounted him! Johnston is looking to get to half guard. Lee tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Johnston tries to control the position but Lee now has his back.
Johnston tries to escape but Lee has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Lee tries to get the hooks in deep but Johnston pushed the leg off. Lee has managed to slip his arm under Johnston's chin. This could be all over... yep, Johnston is tapping out! Submission win for Lee.
