Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ralph Hall (ranked 2254 p4p, 2718 weight class) and Jimmy Navarro (ranked 310 p4p, 366 weight class). Hall comes to the cage accompanied by Pinball Wizard. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ralph Hall!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jimmy Navarro!
The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Chris Edwards and James Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hall doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Navarro counters with a straight right hand.
No luck for Hall with that takedown attempt.
Navarro throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Navarro defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hall.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Navarro! But no joy.
Navarro has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.

Hall goes for a double leg but Navarro avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Navarro continues to drive forward.
Navarro throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Halls head.
Hall drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Navarro gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Hall jumps guard but Navarro turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.

Hall has his foot on Navarro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Navarro works his way back into a safe position though.

Navarro got a little sloppy there for a moment and Hall has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Navarro has managed to get both his arms back between Hall's legs - danger averted.

Horrible takedown attempt by Hall or perhaps it was just good defense by Navarro, which made it look bad.

Navarro might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Hall haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
What can Hall do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Well Navarro has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
