Sturridge comes into the arena with Gimmie The Loot - By: The Notorious BIG blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sturridge scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Jackson doesn't seem bothered though.
Sturridge ducks under a wild hook from Jackson.
Sturridge has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Scrap Squad in the buildup to the fight.

Jackson uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
It looks like Isaiah Sturridge has been cut.

Jackson throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Sturridge to counter with a crisp jab.
Jackson rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Sturridge counters with a nice uppercut.
Sturridge lands a nice leg kick that just misses Jackson's sensitive parts.
Sturridge bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jackson's head.
Jackson looks to land a right hand but Sturridge moved out of range.
Jackson throws a series of punches but Sturridge avoids them all with ease.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Jackson misses with a few strikes there.
Sturridge goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Sturridge goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Sturridge connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Sturridge clobbers Jackson with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Sturridge connects with a body shot.
Sturridge lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Sturridge shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jackson is trying to defend but Sturridge finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Sturridge in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Jackson tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Sturridge!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Isaiah Sturridge!
Isaiah Sturridge bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
