Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between John Frost (ranked 3111 p4p, 4531 weight class) and Von Killjoy (ranked 307 p4p, 394 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Frost!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Von Killjoy!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Topper Green and Damien Edna.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Killjoy shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Killjoy takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Frost fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Killjoy looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Frost scores with a leg kick.
Frost thuds a left hand into Killjoy's body.
Killjoy shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Frost as he avoids it easily.
Frost lands with a nice combination. Killjoy backs away looking to recover.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Frost lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Von Killjoy has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Frost looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Frost punishes Killjoy's body with a nice straight punch.
Killjoy ducks right into an uppercut from Frost.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Frost lands a lovely overhand right.
Frost throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Killjoy closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Frost's guard.
Frost keeping moving, preventing Killjoy from controlling successfully.

Killjoy thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Killjoy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Killjoy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Frost keeping moving, preventing Killjoy from controlling successfully.
Killjoy loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Killjoy pushes down on Frost's leg and manages to get into half guard.

Killjoy is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Killjoy thows a huge punch but Frost dodges it nicely.
Killjoy thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Frost's head.

Killjoy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Frost doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Killjoy.
Killjoy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Killjoy looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.

Killjoy is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Frost doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Killjoy.
Frost is trying to get back to full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Frost is pressing down on Killjoy's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Killjoy trying to control the position from guard on top but Frost is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Killjoy is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Frost wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Killjoy wants to control from the top but Frost keeps moving.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Frost misses with a wild combination.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

John Frost dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Von Killjoy's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Frost rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Killjoy moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Killjoy changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.
Frost connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Frost digs a good body shot into Killjoy's ribs.
Frost with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Frost goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Nice cross by Frost.
Frost lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Killjoy circles away quickly and effectively.
Frost misses with the combination.
Killjoy needs to keep his hands up - Frost had a free shot at his head there.

Frost lands with a nice combination. Killjoy backs away looking to recover.
Frost's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Frost duly obliges.

Killjoy is rocked!
John Frost is winning the standup battle so far.
Killjoy avoids a kick to the body.
Killjoy is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Frost lands with a shot to the body.
Killjoy doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Frost counters with a two punch combo.
Killjoy is still on wobbly legs! Can Frost finish him?
Frost scores with a kick to the midsection.
Killjoy seems to have recovered his senses.
John Frost seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Frost lands with a kick to the temple. Killjoy shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Frost connects with a body shot that sends Killjoy's belly button to the back.
Frost scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Frost really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Frost drops Killjoy with a beautiful combination! Killjoy stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Frost is looking for the KO!
Frost lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Killjoy falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:28 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). John Frost!
During a confident post fight interview, John Frost thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.
