The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mirk stalks Suung and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Suung's face. Suung staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Juan Suung has been cut.
Mirk stuffs the takedown.
Mirk throws a right and a left that Suung avoids nicely.
Suung clinches up against the cage.
Mirk lands a hook to the side of the head.
Suung has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Mirk regains guard immediately.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mirk wants to stand but Suung is controlling the position.
Suung forces his way into half guard.
Suung prevents Mirk from standing back up.
Suung is working for a kimura but Mirk is defending it quite comfortably.
Suung is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Mirk defends it well.

Suung passes to full mount!
Mirk really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Suung. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Suung looking for a guillotine from mount but Mirk is having none of it.
Suung working for a submission but Mirk is keeping him at bay.
Suung is breathing heavily.
