Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Aisopos Markos (ranked 6317 p4p, 4658 weight class) and Neymar Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Neymar Junior!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Junior drives through with a takedown into guard.
Junior controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
Junior slips nicely into half guard.
Markos wants to get back to full guard.
Junior stalling.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Junior looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
Markos taking some punishment here, with Junior in his half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Junior with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

Well, if Junior is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Junior not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Junior in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Junior works his way into full mount!

Junior looking to control and managing it successfully.
Markos knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Junior on the ground.

Junior gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Junior wants to clinch.
Markos wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Markos throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Junior throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
That kick from Markos tenderised Junior's leg. Junior is trying to keep his angry face on.
A head kick misses from Markos.
Markos throws a right and a left that both miss.
Markos throws a sloppy head kick and Junior moves out of range easily.
Markos is breathing heavily.
Markos lands with a thumping leg kick.

Junior feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are working up against the cage. Markos manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Markos's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Junior closes the distance and pushes Markos back into the cage.
Markos prevents Junior from breaking the clinch.

Markos escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Aisopos Markos is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Junior tries to clinch up but Markos circles away and keeps his distance.
No luck for Junior with that takedown attempt.
Junior misses with a body shot.

and Junior counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
Junior throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Junior works his foot free and advances to mount.
Junior blocks Markos's feeble attempts to strike from the bottom.
Junior is in the full mount, landing strikes.

Junior is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Markos is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Markos flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Junior anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Markos and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Junior slips an arm under Markos chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Junior has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Junior is squeezing on Markos like an anaconda would it's prey. Markos fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
