Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Arnaldur Hjoervarsson (ranked 3000 p4p, 2605 weight class) and Ricky Rawse (ranked 96 p4p, 307 weight class). Hjoervarsson comes to the cage accompanied by The Only. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Arnaldur Hjoervarsson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 16 - 1, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ricky Rawse!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rawse throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Rawse misses the shot to the body.
No luck for Hjoervarsson with that takedown attempt.
Rawse scores with a punch to the head.
It looks like Arnaldur Hjoervarsson has been cut.
Hjoervarsson throws a sloppy head kick and Rawse moves out of range easily.
Hjoervarsson's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Rawse connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hjoervarsson scrambles back to his feet.
Rawse keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Hjoervarsson walks into a stiff left hand from Rawse.
Rawse closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Hjoervarsson's guard.
Rawse is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Rawse tries to free his leg and advance position but Hjoervarsson is retaining full guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Hjoervarsson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Rawse shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hjoervarsson pinned against the cage. Hjoervarsson gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hjoervarsson misses with an uppercut.
Hjoervarsson throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Rawse connects with a body shot.
Rawse swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Rawse shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hjoervarsson is trying to defend but Rawse finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hjoervarsson tries to get to full guard but Rawse has control of the leg.
Rawse is looking to advance position but Hjoervarsson won't allow it.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rawse is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Hjoervarsson tries to kick Rawse off but Rawse keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Arnaldur Hjoervarsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hjoervarsson wants to clinch up but Rawse keeps it at a distance.
Rawse takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Hjoervarsson throws a head kick but Rawse moves out of range.
Hjoervarsson tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
That kick from Hjoervarsson tenderised Rawse's leg. Rawse is trying to keep his angry face on.
Rawse throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Hjoervarsson tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rawse is in Hjoervarsson's guard.
Rawse sitting in guard here, content to control.
Let's hope that Rawse has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Rawse pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hjoervarsson is keeping the position for now.

Rawse's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Ricky Rawse dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Arnaldur Hjoervarsson's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Hjoervarsson breaks from the clinch.
Hjoervarsson tries to clinch there but Rawse circles away.
Rawse plants his feet and throws a brutal three punch combo that sends Hjoervarsson swiftly into unconsciousness! Right, left, right! Boom, boom, boom! Hjoervarsson face plants, battered and bloodied! He might never be the same again after that finish!
