Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cam Cartwright!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Konstantin Menshow and Valeri Chadov.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Cartwright shoots for a takedown but Straka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
A decent looking cross lands there for Straka.
A swing and a miss from Straka.

Straka feints and as Cartwright raises his hands in defense, Straka changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Cartwright looking for a guillotine here but Straka defends easily.
Straka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Cartwright swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cartwright is looking to cinch up a triangle. Straka throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Cartwright's body to avoid the submission. Cartwright has instead reached around Straka's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Cartwright arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
