The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sycek bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Usman is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Sycek's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Usman is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sycek pulls his head out easily.
Sycek wants to control but Usman is keeping him busy.
Sycek throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.

Usman is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Sycek defends well.
Sycek throws a big elbow that misses.

Sycek is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Usman has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Sycek is looking to defend but Usman has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Sycek! Usman pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Sycek taps out and this one is all over!
