Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manolito Tai Kung (ranked 551 p4p, 293 weight class) and Vasil Petrov (ranked 87 p4p, 44 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 17 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manolito Tai Kung! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 14 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Vasil Petrov! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, David Schapiro and Steve Montenegro.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Petrov takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Vasil Petrov has been cut. Tai Kung lands a jab to Petrov's midsection. Tai Kung throws a shot to the body.
Tai Kung has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Cave in the buildup to the fight. Tai Kung throws a head kick that half lands.
Tai Kung sends Petrov crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Tai Kung is motioning to the referee to let Petrov up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Petrov is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Tai Kung ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Sloppy strikes from Tai Kung. Those never looked like landing. Petrov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Tai Kung with a body shot. Petrov has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. A telegraphed right hand from Tai Kung misses the target. Petrov is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tai Kung swings widly with a right hand
letting Petrov counter with a right hand. Tai Kung lands a big head kick that sends Petrov tumbling to the mat! Tai Kung takes a step backwards and waves Petrov back to his feet - he wants the finish! Petrov is still on wobbly legs! Can Tai Kung finish him? Manolito Tai Kung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Tai Kung throws a right hand that misses
and Petrov counters with a right hand to the body. Tai Kung misses with a right hand letting Petrov counter with a right hand. Petrov seems to have recovered his senses. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Tai Kung throws a looping overhand right but Petrov ducks down to avoid it. Petrov scores with a nice head shot. Tai Kung looks to land a left hand but Petrov moved out of range nicely. Petrov looks to land a left hand but Tai Kung moved out of range nicely. Tai Kung is looking to counter punch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tai Kung lands a hook that stumbles Petrov back into the cage. Tai Kung follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Petrov to the canvas! Tai Kung pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Petrov has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
