Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francois Oosthuizen (ranked 1418 p4p, 2245 weight class) and Jack Sadler (ranked 196 p4p, 296 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Francois Oosthuizen ! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jack Sadler! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Tatsuya Matsuyama and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oosthuizen swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Oosthuizen thuds his right hand into Sadler's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Jack Sadler seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Sadler throws a right hand that Oosthuizen ducks under and follows up with a left that Oosthuizen also avoids with ease. Sadler listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Oosthuizen seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Oosthuizen jabbing away but nothing is landing. Sadler misses with a body shot.

Oosthuizen looks to throw the jab but Sadler is out of range. Oosthuizen closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Sadler swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Oosthuizen . Oosthuizen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Sadler.

Sadler blocks a jab. Sadler throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Oosthuizen needs to keep his hands up - Sadler had a free shot at his head there. Oosthuizen throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Sadler defending well as Oosthuizen loads up on a big left hand. Sadler scores with a jab. Oosthuizen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Sadler. Oosthuizen closes the distance and clinches. Oosthuizen lands with a light punch inside. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Sadler stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Oosthuizen lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Sadler trying to control the position but instead, Oosthuizen has worked for underhooks and has pushed Sadler into the cage. Oosthuizen swings wildly with an uppercut but Sadler uses good head movement to avoid it. Oosthuizen tries a body shot but Sadler blocks it.

A head punch on the inside from Sadler fails to land. Oosthuizen tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Sadler is trying to break the clinch but Oosthuizen has him pressed against the cage. Oosthuizen lands a left hand.
Sadler wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sadler stalls. Sadler working aggressively here.
Sadler pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Sadler paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Sadler throws a sloppy body shot
and Oosthuizen counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Nice straight punches there by Oosthuizen . You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Oosthuizen . Oosthuizen takes a swing at Sadler's ribcage but misses. Oosthuizen defending well as Sadler loads up on a big left hand. Oosthuizen is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Sadler rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Oosthuizen moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Oosthuizen slips a straight right by Sadler. Sadler fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Oosthuizen looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Oosthuizen looks to score with a jab to the body but Sadler is just out of range. Sadler missing with a left hand there. Oosthuizen was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Sadler looks to land a left hand but Oosthuizen moved out of range nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Oosthuizen scores with a nice strike.
It looks like Jack Sadler has been cut. Oosthuizen lands with an uppercut that bounces Sadler off the cage and back into range. Oosthuizen drops his hands momentarily and Sadler takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. A left lands for Oosthuizen .
Sadler is rocked!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oosthuizen lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Sadler at a distance.
Sadler is still on wobbly legs! Can Oosthuizen finish him? Oosthuizen wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Sadler rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Oosthuizen counters with a crisp right hand that drops Sadler! Oosthuizen lets Sadler back up to his feet, looking for a finish! Sadler throws a right hand that misses
and Oosthuizen counters with a beautiful right hand that knocks Sadler out cold! What a finish! Oosthuizen is going crazy, running around the mat, summersaulting off the corner posts and screaming into the cameras. Something tells me he's pretty happy!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Francois Oosthuizen ! Francois Oosthuizen decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
