Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pretty Ricky (ranked 4526 p4p, 6519 weight class) and Bryce Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pretty Ricky could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Bryce Lee's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ricky shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Lee manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Ricky not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Ricky won't allow Lee to sweep him here.
Ricky lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Ricky is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Ricky is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Ricky works over Lee with some ground and pound from guard.

Ricky decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Lee, up you get!

Ricky shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Ricky content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Lee really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Ricky. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Ricky is looking to advance position but Lee won't allow it.

Lee looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Ricky is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Ricky is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Ricky jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Lee manages to avoid the submission attempt.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Ricky content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
Ricky seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lee for as long as he can get away with.
Lee is looking to reverse the position.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
You can see the frustration on Lee's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Lee takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Ricky looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Ricky looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Lee is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ricky with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Ricky has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Ricky is thwarting Lee's attempts to control the position.
Ricky keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Ricky finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Lee is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Ricky dives into side control.

Ricky stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Lee throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Lee is looking for a sweep.
Ricky lands a decent elbow from side control.

Ricky stands up and we're back to a striking position.
Ricky throws a right and a left that Lee avoids nicely.
A combination from Lee does no damage.

Ricky darts in and clinches Lee up against the cage.
Lee working hard to break the clinch.

Ricky stalling.
Ricky is trying to drag Lee to the mat but Lee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Lee tries to circle away but Ricky has him pinned against the cage.
Ricky is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Lee to keep the fight standing.
Ricky is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around?
Ricky goes for a takedown attempt but Lee pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Pretty Ricky. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ricky darts in trying to clinch
and Lee counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Ricky is standing up over Lee. Lee looks to escape but Ricky dives into side control.

Lee tries to stall but Ricky uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

Lee tries to get back to half guard but can't.

Ricky is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Lee knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Ricky's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Ricky has hold of Lee's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Lee seems comfortable defending it but Ricky has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Lee is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Lee is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ricky couldn't care less - he's delighted!
