Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Brett Stone (ranked 4153 p4p, 4911 weight class) and Rocco Damato (ranked 369 p4p, 395 weight class). Damato has chosen Thunderstruck as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Brett Stone!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rocco Damato!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Stone forces Damato back against the cage and clinches.
Stone landing knees to the body.
Damato looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Damato wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

Damato pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Stone tries to score a power double leg takedown but Damato sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stone somewhat.
Stone shoots in looking for a takedown but Damato manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Stone's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

Damato gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Stone tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Damato avoids it.
Damato blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.

Damato breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Stone closes the distance and clinches.
Damato on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Stone doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Damato tries for a takedown but Stone manages to get underhooks.
A nice left hand lands by Damato.
Stone throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Damato blocks it with crossed arms.
Stone misses with a knee to the head.
Stone lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Damato wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Stone lands an elbow that stopped Damato in his tracks for a moment.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Damato escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stone keeps the fight on the outside.

Damato closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Stone.
Damato managing to block the knees to the body from Stone.

Stone is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Damato is defending well for now.
Stone misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Damato.

Damato has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Stone uses from the top position.
Stone is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

Damato looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Stone is defending well. Damato quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Stone has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Damato celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
