This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Los Angeles, with a TWGC record of 10 wins and 6 losses; Vartan Esteves! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Amsterdam, with a TWGC record of 16 wins and 11 losses; Jurgen Tetsuo! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Felipe Paraventi and Daniel Cesar.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Esteves fails with the takedown. Esteves tries for a takedown but Tetsuo sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Esteves looks for a takedown but Tetsuo sprawls well. Tetsuo tries to counter by closing the distance. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vartan Esteves. That's going to take a lot out of him. Esteves tries for a takedown but Tetsuo circles away easily and Tetsuo counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Tetsuo prevents the takedown attempt.

He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Tetsuo! Tetsuo is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Esteves.
