Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Danny Herring (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paolo Mac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mac has chosen The Last Song as his entrance music. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paolo Mac! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Russell Pearce.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mac misses with a two punch combination.
Herring shoots in for a takedown but Mac shows good takedown defense. Herring gets a takedown into half guard. Mac wants to get back to his feet. Mac should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Herring seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense. Mac wants to get back to his feet.

Herring lands a big shot there that rocks Mac but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.

A lazy left from Mac finds it's target. Herring uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Mac. Paolo Mac seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Herring avoids the head kick by Mac.

I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Herring lands a big shot there that rocks Mac but he's holding on and managing to survive for now.
