Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pyyno Janis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Komokallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Janis might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Rubber Johnny. Komokallio has chosen Bailando as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pyyno Janis!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Johannes Komokallio!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Arvi Lind and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Janis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The fighters circling - Komokallio throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Komokallio doesn't manage to clinch there - Janis circles away.
Komokallio misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Janis fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Komokallio sprawls well initially but Janis persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Komokallio is trying to control but Janis manages to pass to mount!
Janis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Janis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Komokallio looks a forlorn figure.
It looks like Johannes Komokallio has been cut.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The cut above Johannes Komokallio's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johannes Komokallio's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
