The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buriak lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.

Buriak closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Mjölnir tries for a takedown but Buriak manages to get underhooks.
Buriak gets underhooks to prevent Mjölnir's takedown attempt.

We've been hearing reports that Buriak has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Buriak seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mjölnir does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Mjölnir really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Buriak. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
