Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryo Hamada (ranked 3265 p4p, 4227 weight class) and Kahdi Mandinos (ranked 411 p4p, 492 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryo Hamada! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, Kahdi Mandinos! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Darius Henderson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mandinos drives through with a takedown into guard. Hamada is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Doom's Gym that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Mandinos is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Mandinos stops Hamada from standing up. Mandinos keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hamada's head. Hamada keeping full guard, as Mandinos tries to pass. Mandinos forces his way into half guard. Mandinos looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Mandinos wants to free his trapped foot but Hamada is holding on for dear life with his legs. Hamada is looking to escape. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mandinos throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Hamada wants to get back to his feet. Mandinos with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Mandinos is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Hamada doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Mandinos.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mandinos trying to control from half guard but Hamada is working away. Hamada wants to get back to his feet. Hamada is looking to improve his position.
Mandinos wants to take a breather but Hamada is having none of it. Hamada keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Mandinos is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hamada is just riding it out for now. Mandinos eventually gives up the hold. Hamada is not content to let Mandinos control the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Mandinos lands a nice short elbow. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Mandinos is looking to take a break and control but Hamada is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mandinos passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Hamada! Mandinos putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Hamada wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Hamada can't escape the position.
Mandinos lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Mandinos can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hamada is looking to escape. Hamada keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mandinos trying to control but Hamada is having none of it. Mandinos landing punches. Mandinos raining down shots from the mount! Mandinos punishing his opponent with strikes. Mandinos scores with a couple of good head shots there.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Mandinos cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
The referee warns Hamada that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Hamada is rocked! Hamada tries to get back to half guard but can't. Oh Hamada is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Mandinos is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Hamada is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Hamada flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Mandinos anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Hamada and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Mandinos slips an arm under Hamada chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Mandinos has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Mandinos is squeezing on Hamada like an anaconda would it's prey. Hamada fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Kahdi Mandinos!
