The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rage shoots and misses
and Patterson counters with a takedown into side control.
Patterson is looking to take a break and control but Rage is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Rage is looking to regain half guard here but Patterson keeps moving and retains side control.
Patterson cracks Rage with a big right hand but Rage just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Patterson is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Rage looks calm but he's in trouble here. Patterson gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Rage is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Patterson lets go of the hold and Rage can pop his arm back in it's socket.
