Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ed Green (ranked 281 p4p, 1940 weight class) and Bosque Trabuco (ranked 41 p4p, 247 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Trabuco moves into the clinch.

Green tries to pull guard but Trabuco holds him up against the cage and eventually Green drops back down to his feet.

Green jumps guard but Trabuco stands there with Green around his waist. Green gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Trabuco really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Green. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Green has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Trabuco can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Green seems to have got his legs back now.

Trabuco with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Trabuco is looking to work some ground and pound but Green has wrist control.
Green is trying to keep Trabuco in close.

Trabuco got a little sloppy there for a moment and Green has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Trabuco has managed to get both his arms back between Green's legs - danger averted.

Green lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Trabuco bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Green's guard.

Trabuco must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Green is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Bosque Trabuco dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action.

Green jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Trabuco walks away with a smile on his face. Green gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Trabuco has been looking to improve his clinch game in recent weeks. Green seems to have the measure of him in the clinch so far, so let's see if Trabuco can turn it around.
