Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Resina (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyler Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tyler Durden told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jonas Resina! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyler Durden! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Chris Downing and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Resina walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Durden checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side. Resina shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Resina looking to finish Durden with some ground and pound. This is bad for Durden! Resina lands with some strikes. Resina looking to control and managing it successfully. Resina trying to control but Durden is having none of it. Resina postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Durden looks a forlorn figure.
Resina can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Durden is looking to escape. Resina scoring with strikes but Durden is staying in there.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Durden keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Resina looking to control but Durden is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Durden can't escape the position.

Resina lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Durden hang on? The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Resina scores with a couple of good head shots there.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Resina fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Resina is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Durden can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Resina controlling the pace for now. Resina scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Durden is trying desperately to improve position. Resina putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Resina takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Durden is desperately trying to improve his position but Resina has a good base and remains in mount. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Resina clinches. Resina is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Durden tries for a takedown but Resina manages to get underhooks.
Resina unloads a knee to the mid-section. Durden lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Resina jumps guard and drags Durden to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Resina manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Resina has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Resina looking to control and managing it successfully. Resina lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Durden hang on? Durden is breathing heavily. Resina working Durden over with strikes here. Durden sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resina content to control rather than advance. Resina decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Resina feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Resina might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Resina is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Durden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Resina doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Resina manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Resina slips nicely into half guard. Resina gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Resina drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Resina content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. Resina is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Durden has escaped the position, nice work there. Resina lands an elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Resina has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Durden! Resina landing strikes from the mount and Durden is in trouble! Durden is desperately trying to improve his position but Resina has a good base and remains in mount. Resina landing punches. Resina is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Durden can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Durden in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Resina controlling the position easily from mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee warns Durden that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Resina darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Durden tries to roll over but Resina keeps him under control. Resina scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Durden trying to control here.
Resina with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Durden misses with some strikes from the bottom.
Resina is looking for a kimura here.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Resina looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's one minute gone in the round. Resina passes the guard and advances to mount! Resina is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Durden can do to turn this around? Resina controlling from the full mount. Durden defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Resina.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Durden tries to improve his position but Resina has taken his back! Resina has a choke - it's sunk in pretty tight... Will Durden tap? No... maybe... yes! He's tapped! Resina pushes Durden away and gets up to celebrate with his corner!
