Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Barnett (ranked 2603 p4p, 503 weight class) and Ludwig Lachmann (ranked 328 p4p, 83 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Barnett might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Born Ready. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Buddy Barnett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ludwig Lachmann!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Bart Greer and Sandra Marshall.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lachmann throws a hook to the side of Barnett's head but Barnett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Barnett gets caught napping as Lachmann dives in and scores a takedown. Barnett manages to retain guard.
Lachmann is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Barnett is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Barnett has escaped and now he's on top!
Lachmann working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Barnett doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Barnett manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Lachmann has his foot on Barnett's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Barnett works his way back into a safe position though.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Lachmann is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Barnett has his hands clasped together but Lachmann extends and breaks Barnett's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Lachmann.
