Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimothy Jones (ranked 3555 p4p, 79 weight class) and Sonatane Veainu (ranked 0 p4p, 17 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Jimothy Jones !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Sonatane Veainu!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Bart Greer and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A punch combination from Jones misses.
Veainu throws out a counter right but Jones avoids it with no problem.
Jones misses with a kick to the body
and Veainu counters with a nice right hand that sends Jones toppling to the canvas! Jones scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Veainu finish him?!
Jones is rocked!
It looks like Jimothy Jones has been cut.
Veainu has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Jones rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Veainu counters with a huge right that knocks Jones out cold! Veainu is running around with a crazed look on his face - you can see how much that meant to him!
