Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rai Costa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and winston churchill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Rai Costa has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Rai Costa seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, winston churchill!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
churchill tries to clinch up but Costa circles away and keeps his distance.
Horrible takedown by churchill or perhaps it was just good defense by Costa which made him look bad.
Both fighters circling a little - churchill finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
churchill shoots in for a takedown but Costa shows good takedown defense.
churchill shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Costa pinned against the cage. Costa gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Rai Costa has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of winston churchill.
Costa misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Costa closes the distance but churchill moves to the side
and churchill counters with a takedown into side control.
churchill is looking to take a break and control but Costa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
I wouldn't like to be where Costa is right now.

churchill tries for a kimura but Costa is defending well.
Costa gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Costa has a hand on churchill's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. churchill takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!
churchill wants to control the pace but Costa is squirming around nicely.
Costa is not a happy chappy… he wants out of there.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Costa is trying to escape the mount.
Costa is breathing heavily.
Costa is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
churchill thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
churchill working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.

churchill trying to control but Costa is having none of it.
Costa is looking to improve his position but churchill isn't that keen on the idea.
churchill controlling from mount.
Costa is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! churchill has taken his back!

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Costa looking to control the position.
Costa tries to break free.
churchill is cranking Costa's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Costa! He's tightened the choke and Costa is tapping out!
