The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nelson throws a jab but it's blocked by Vasiliev.
Vasiliev throwing a counter right hand but Nelson manages to avoid it.
Vasiliev scores with a sloppy right hand. Nelson should have avoided that one.
Nelson jabbing away but nothing is landing.
A big right from Nelson misses.
Tim Nelson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Vasiliev walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Nelson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nelson moves into range and connects with a jab.
Vasiliev definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Vasiliev takes a jab right on the kisser.
Nelson misses with a straight right.
Vasiliev misses with a body shot.
Nelson takes a swing at Vasiliev's ribcage but misses.
Vasiliev seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
Nelson throws a hook but Vasiliev blocks it.
It looked like Vasiliev was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Nelson.
Vasiliev connects with a looping right hand.
Nelson walks right into a perfectly timed right hook and goes down hard! He's out cold! The ref cradles Nelson limp body while Vasiliev jumps on to the cage and waves to the roaring crowd. Wow that was just a brutal knockout!
