Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between jj b (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Denny Beast (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, jj b! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Denny Beast! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Gwen Towbar and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! b shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beast as he jumps to the side. b wants to clinch up but Beast keeps it at a distance. Beast gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and b counters with a takedown into side control. b decides to stand up, so the ref orders Beast to his feet. b tries to clinch but Beast moves out of range. b moves in looking to clinch but Beast pushes him off. Beast lands a head kick!
It looks like jj b has been cut. b on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Beast has his takedown stuffed and b counters with a shoot takedown. Beast fights it but they end up in guard. b controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. b throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Beast works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. b passes Beast's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Beast is defending against the submission attempts here by b.
b seems to be working for a kimura but Beast defends the submission attempt. b wants to work for an arm triangle but Beast is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
b is breathing heavily. Beast gets back to full guard.
b prevents Beast from getting back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Beast has an active guard here but b has managed to pass into half guard.
Beast keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. b wants to control but Beast is keeping him busy. b seems to be working for a kimura but Beast defends the submission attempt. Beast trying to control from the bottom.

Beast bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in b's guard. b escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Beast gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Beast controls the pace of the fight for a moment. b looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Beast trying to stand up but can't free himself from b's guard. Beast pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. b is keeping the position for now. Beast wants to control from the top but b keeps moving. Beast is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. b is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Beast wants to control from the top but b keeps moving. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

It's a sloppy attempt though and b jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. b drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Beast manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now b has Beast in his guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

He'll be looking to tighten that up but Beast can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Beast really doesn't want to stay on the ground with b. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. b looking for a sweep. Not yet b, not yet. Beast slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Beast stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. b swivels though and keeps the full guard.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Beast wants to control from the top but b keeps moving. Beast preventing the sweep. b keeping full guard, as Beast tries to pass.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Beast clinches up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast stalling against the cage.
Beast pulls guard successfully.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. b trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Beast manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! b looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Beast passes into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. b is trying to control Beast's posture but Beast avoids it. b tries to bench press Beast off him but Beast keeps the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. b taking punishment in the form of punches.
Beast is looking to take a break and control but b is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that jj b will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on jj b's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Beast is looking to slow b down with leg kicks. b on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Beast. Beast obviously looking to wear him down.
Beast doesn't succeed with the takedown and b counters with a single leg into guard. Beast didn't expect that. Beast is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. b trying to control but Beast is working from the bottom. b drops back looking for a leg! Beast is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Beast manages to kick b off! b jumps back into Beast's guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Beast manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. b manages to get himself to full guard.

Beast connects with a couple of short punches. Beast trying to control the position from guard on top but b is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Beast postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Beast with a poor takedown and b counters with a takedown into side control. b tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no b has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! b has knee on belly and moves into mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Beast is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
b wants to control the pace but Beast is squirming around nicely. b working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. b trying to control but he's not successful this time. Beast tries to hold on but b pushes him away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. b tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Beast tries to lock up and control but b gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Beast holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as b tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
b looking to finish with strikes here!
b can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Beast is looking to escape. Beast is in all sorts of trouble here.
And that's the end of the fight! jj b showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for b, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
