Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shinya Aoki (ranked 3273 p4p, 4534 weight class) and Eduard Kelly (ranked 405 p4p, 477 weight class). Aoki comes to the cage accompanied by Shinya Aoki. On his way into the cage it seems that Shinya Aoki has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Shinya Aoki seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Eduard Kelly!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Lou da Vinci and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Aoki.
Kelly gets a double leg takedown into Aoki's guard.
Aoki is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Aoki is retaining full guard.
Kelly got a little sloppy there for a moment and Aoki has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kelly has managed to get both his arms back between Aoki's legs - danger averted.
Kelly must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Kelly is posturing up here but Aoki has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Kelly tries to roll out but it's too tight and Kelly has to tap! Slick submission there by Aoki!

Shinya Aoki took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
