Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jackie Chan (ranked 3293 p4p, 4462 weight class) and Adam Wade (ranked 0 p4p, 480 weight class). Adam Wade is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jackie Chan!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Adam Wade!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Shigeki Sano.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wade throws a right and a left that Chan avoids nicely.

Wade moves into the clinch.

Wade jumps guard and drags Chan to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
Chan throws a big elbow that misses.
Chan is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Chan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
Wade is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Chan wants to control from the top but Wade keeps moving.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan controls from within his opponent's guard.

Wade keeping moving, preventing Chan from controlling successfully.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Wade gets a takedown into half guard.

Chan pushes Wade off and gets back to his feet.

Wade has closed the distance and engaged Chan in a clinch.

Wade has picked Chan up - he's going for a ride! Wade dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Chan tries to get to full guard but Wade has control of the leg.
Chan trying to hold on to Wade's head to control him but Wade postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Wade seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Wade tries to stand but his arm is trapped.
Wade prevents Chan from improving his position.
Chan is looking to get back to full guard here but Wade has managed to pass to side control instead.

Chan tries to improve position but can't.
Chan is letting Wade control him for a moment.
Wade has control of an arm but Chan manages to advance to Wade's back!
Wade rolls, trying to escape but Chan keeps control of the position.
Wade trying to control the hands but Chan breaks the grip.
Wade is really stuck here.
Wade is keeping busy.
Wade tries to escape but Chan has the hooks in and won't let him break free.
Wade is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Chan off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted.

Wade is taking damage to the body and head.
Wade is trying to stand back up.
Wade manages to reverse the position and now he's in Chan's guard. Nice work there by Wade.
Chan controls Wade momentarily but Wade frees himself.
Chan looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Chan wants to sweep here but Wade controlling him for the moment.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Wade is looking to work some ground and pound but Chan has wrist control.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Adam Wade will probably get the nod.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!

Chan tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Wade defends well and Chan ends up having to push Wade into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Chan changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Wade fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Chan closes the distance and clinches up with Wade, looking for a takedown. Chan pushes Wade against the cage but Wade circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jackie Chan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Chan tries a head kick but it misses.
Chan avoids a punch combination nicely.
As Wade looks to move away, Chan throws a big counter combo but Wade just gets out of the way.

and Chan counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Wade controlling the position for now.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Chan stops Wade from getting back to his feet.
Wade is looking for a sweep. Chan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Wade is still trying to improve position.
Chan wants to control but Wade is keeping him busy.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Wade throws a leg kick but Chan checks it.
Chan shoots in for a takedown but Wade shows good takedown defense.

Wade shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Wade showed some decent athleticism there.
Chan is trying to escape back to his feet but Wade uses the scramble to pass into side control.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Chan tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Wade wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
You can see the frustration on Chan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Chan is looking for a sweep.
Wade is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Chan will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already.
Let's hope that Wade has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Wade wants to lay and pray for a moment but Chan keeps working.
Chan sneaks back into half guard.
Chan blocking the ground and pound attempt from Wade.
Chan pushes Wade off looking to stand but Wade dives back in and keeps control.
Jackie Chan overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Chan has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Wade is working away from the top position though.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Chan is pressing down on Wade's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Wade looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Wade is looking to stand up but Chan won't let him.
Chan looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Chan moves out of range of the body kick from Wade.

Chan instigates a clinch.
Chan can't get the takedown.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Adam Wade will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!


Wade forces Chan back against the cage and clinches.

Wade gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.

Chan has scooted to the edge of the canvas and used the cage to get back to his feet. Wade has stuck on his opponent and is forcing him back against the cage.

Chan drags the fight down to the ground.
Wade passes Chan's left leg - he's now in half guard.

Wade is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Chan tries to get to full guard but Wade has control of the leg.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Chan pushes Wade off looking to stand but Wade dives back in and keeps control.
Chan is looking for a sweep. Wade is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Wade works his foot free and advances to mount.
Wade controlling from the full mount.
Wade punching from mount but Chan doing a good job of avoiding damage.
Chan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Wade is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Chan is forced to tap! Great finish!
