Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Nikolai Magomedov (ranked 22860 p4p, 22048 weight class) and Dru Quick (ranked 129 p4p, 191 weight class). Quick has chosen Gangster's Paradise- Coolio as his entrance music. On his way into the ring it seems that Nikolai Magomedov has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Nikolai Magomedov seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, for the super heavyweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Nikolai Magomedov!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dru Quick!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Dillan Fox and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Quick chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Nikolai Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magomedov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Quick looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Magomedov misses with the combination.
We've been informed that Quick has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Quick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Magomedov moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Quick steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Magomedov.
Magomedov throws a lazy uppercut
and Quick counters with a stiff right hand.
Magomedov on the wrong end of a nice jab.
Magomedov walks into a big right hand from Quick and goes down! The referee sends Quick to a neutral corner as Magomedov gets back to his feet. He looks OK so we're back under way.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Magomedov tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Magomedov slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
The crowd cheers as Magomedov lands an impressive looking overhand right. Quick doesn't seem phased though.
A nice inside leg kick there by Quick. That's going to slow Magomedov down.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Magomedov scores with a jab to the head.
Magomedov throws a body kick that misses
and Quick counters with a perfectly timed counter left hook that drops Magomedov to the mat, face first! Quick goes to the neutral corner and waits for the referee to start the count. Magomedov is back to hise feet already though and looking to continue the bout! Exciting stuff!
Magomedov is rocked!
BAM! Quick delivers a spinning backfist that drops Magomedov like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Spinning Backfist). Dru Quick!
Dru Quick is the new super heavyweight champion!
After winning the bout, Dru Quick thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
