Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Maurice Blow (ranked 6322 p4p, 5632 weight class) and Vincent Askew (ranked 577 p4p, 547 weight class). Blow comes to the ring accompanied by life goes on . These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maurice Blow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Vincent Askew! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Chris Downing and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Blow tries to clinch there but Askew circles away.
Askew takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
It looks like Vincent Askew has been cut. Askew darts in and clinches Blow up against the ropes. Askew breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Blow throws a hook to the side of Askew's head but Askew sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Askew tries to counter by closing the distance. Blow throws a jab when Askew was well out of range. Blow throws a jab when Askew was well out of range. Blow misses the shot to the body. Askew defending well as Blow loads up on a big left hand. Blow throws a series of punches but Askew avoids them all with ease. Askew's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Blow connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Askew scrambles back to his feet. Blow tries to clinch there but Askew circles away.
Askew throws a right and a left that Blow avoids nicely. Blow misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blow misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Askew.
Blow sets himself, and Askew steps forward looking for the clinch! Blow avoids it this time. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Askew rushes Blow and presses him up against the ropes. Askew escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blow misses with a hook. Askew ducked under it nicely. Blow definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Blow is looking to clinch. Blow doesn't manage to clinch there - Askew circles away.
Blow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Maurice Blow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Askew steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Blow. Askew shapes to counter with a head kick. Askew throws a body shot but no joy. Askew closes the distance and clinches. Askew is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Askew is leaning against Blow and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. Askew lands a right hand. The fighters are pressed against the ropes, as the pace of the fight slows. Blow is trying to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Blow looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Askew controlling the action here for a moment.
Askew breaks the clinch.
Askew avoids the head kick by Blow.
Blow misses the shot to the body. Blow sets himself, and Askew steps forward looking for the clinch! Blow avoids it this time. Blow connects with a crisp jab. Askew circles away from the clinch attempt.
Askew tries to counter by closing the distance. Blow throws a jab when Askew was well out of range. Blow throws an overhand right that lands on Askew's shoulder, as Askew tries to avoid the shot. Blow catches his opponent with a big hook that sends him to the canvas! Askew stumbles back to his feet but will the referee allow it to continue? Askew walks forwards and this one will be allowed to continue! Come on!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blow throws a body punch but Askew moves out of range. BAM! Blow delivers a spinning backfist that drops Askew like a ragdoll! This is all oooooveeeer! He was out before he hit the ground!
