Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bad Kharma (ranked 3607 p4p, 3592 weight class) and Cezar Bononi (ranked 128 p4p, 126 weight class). Kharma comes to the cage accompanied by Hong kong fury theme song. Bononi has chosen Bloody Roots by- SEPULTURA as his entrance music. Cezar Bononi told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Bad Kharma !
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Cezar Bononi!
The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kharma steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Bononi.
Kharma could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Kharma throws a head kick but Bononi moves out of range.
Bononi throws out a counter right but Kharma avoids it with no problem.
Bononi throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kharma looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Kharma drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Bad Kharma has been cut.
Bononi jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Bononi misses with an uppercut. Kharma saw that one coming.
Kharma definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Bononi lands with a nice combination. Kharma backs away looking to recover.
Kharma gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Bononi.
Crunch! Kharma slams his shin into Bononi's torso.
Kharma gets cracked there but stands up to it.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Kharma ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
A quick step to the side and Kharma tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kharma lands a jab to the head.
Kharma throws a shot from downtown. Bononi moves away and avoids it.
Kharma drops Bononi with a naaaaasty hook - Bononi is in real trouble here! Kharma dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Bad Kharma !
Bad Kharma took some time post fight to say the following; 'I'm a man who walks the broken path,in the shadows my strength grows....'.
The defeated Cezar Bononi had this to say: 'I'm too beautiful for this'.
