Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jupiter Smalls (ranked 2488 p4p, 3427 weight class) and Jinski Grang (ranked 329 p4p, 418 weight class). Grang has chosen JID - 151 Rum as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jupiter Smalls! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jinski Grang! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Grang throws a sloppy body shot
and Smalls counters with a right hand to the body. Smalls's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Smalls duly obliges. Grang swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
letting Smalls counter with a right hand. Grang lands with a straight right. Smalls didn't see that one coming. Smalls throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Smalls steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grang. Grang throws the left hand but Smalls avoids the punch easily. Grang misses with a right hand and Smalls counters with a lovely straight right hand! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smalls throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Smalls slips a jab from Grang. Smalls uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Grang. Grang ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Smalls moves away. Smalls lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Grang backs up against the cage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Grang. Smalls does a little dance to reset his feet. Smalls lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Grang throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Smalls is looking for a counter combo. Grang throws the left hand but Smalls avoids the punch easily. Smalls has taken the fight to the clinch.
Grang is trying to maintain a safe position but Smalls gets an underhook and turns Grang into the cage. Grang is trying to break the clinch but Smalls has him pressed against the cage. Good anti-grappling being displayed by Smalls as Grang tries to tie him up. Grang blocks the elbow strike.
Smalls escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Grang doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Grang swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Smalls counter with a right hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smalls steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Grang. Smalls uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Grang. A counter left hand to the body from Smalls misses its target. Grang throws an off balance right hand
and Smalls counters with a series of strikes. Grang will be more careful next time no doubt. Smalls has closed the distance and engaged Grang in a clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Smalls pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Smalls avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Grang throws a right hand that misses
and Smalls counters with a straight punch to the midsection. A looping hook to the body misses from Grang. Smalls does a little dance to reset his feet. It looked like Smalls was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Grang throws a poor cross that misses
and Smalls counters with a nice uppercut. Grang throws a hook but Smalls avoids it easily. Grang avoids a punch combination nicely.
Grang misses with a right hand and Smalls counters with a left and a right that stings Grang. A looping hook to the body misses from Grang. Smalls does a little dance to reset his feet. Smalls seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smalls takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

and Smalls counters with a series of strikes. Grang will be more careful next time no doubt. A telegraphed right hand from Grang misses the target. It looked like Smalls was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Smalls shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Smalls misses with a kick to the body.
Smalls moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A looping hook to the body misses from Grang. Smalls does a little dance to reset his feet. Grang missing with a left hand there. Smalls was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Grang throws a left and a right that both miss
letting Smalls counter with a right hand. Grang misses with a looping right. Grang takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Grang throws a hook but Smalls avoids it easily. Smalls keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Grang misses with a lunging right hand
and Smalls counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Grang showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Smalls.
Grang misses with an uppercut
letting Smalls counter with a right hand. Grang misses with a wild body shot. Smalls appears to be looking for a big counter. Grang dips to his left and cracks Smalls with an uppercut! Smalls showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grang.
Smalls was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit. The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end. Smalls closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Grang working hard to break the clinch. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Jupiter Smalls dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Grang misses with a lunging right hand
and Smalls counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Grang throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Smalls counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Grang throws an overhand right that lands on Smalls's shoulder, as Smalls tries to avoid the shot. Smalls uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grang.
Smalls was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Grang throws a right hand that misses
and Smalls counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Jupiter Smalls is winning the standup battle so far. Grang throws a lazy right hand but Smalls sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Grang misses with an uppercut
and Smalls counters with a stiff right hand. Grang throws a lazy uppercut
and Smalls counters with a left to the body. Grang rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Smalls counters with a series of strikes. Grang will be more careful next time no doubt. Grang throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Smalls counters with a crisp one two that drops Grang! Smalls thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Grang to his feet! Grang is in big trouble!
Grang is rocked! Smalls is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Grang can do to turn this around? Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Grang throws an off balance right hand
and Smalls counters with a right, left combo that wobbles Grang badly! Smalls follows up with a massive right hook, straight to the bridge of the nose that knocks Grang out cold! Oh wow, what a finish! Very reminiscent of Koscheck vs Yoshida as Smalls finished him against the cage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Jupiter Smalls! Jupiter Smalls gave a mention to MKFC in his post fight interview. That will please them (and hopefully generate some sales).
