Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Denis Denisov (ranked 3193 p4p, 2235 weight class) and Dar Jee (ranked 196 p4p, 134 weight class). Jee has chosen Everybody Knows My Name as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 8 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Denis Denisov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dar Jee! The judges for this bout are Roger Salmon, Josh West and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Denisov moves into the clinch. Denisov is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Jee is defending well for now. Denisov wants to take the fight to the mat but Jee manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Denisov fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Jee is trying to break free. Denisov is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Denis Denisov. That's going to take a lot out of him. Denisov is trying to drag Jee to the mat but Jee just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Denisov tries to pull guard but Jee forces him back to his feet, against the cage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Denisov is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Jee is defending well. Denisov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round. Denisov tests Jee's chin there with a solid looking shot. Oooooh!!! Jee has knocked Denisov down with a huge combo! Jee steps away and waves a wobbly Denisov back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
It looks like Denis Denisov has been cut. Jee on the wrong end of a nice jab. Denisov dodges the punch combination from Jee.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Jee looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Denisov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
It seemed like Jee was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Jee throws a right and a left that both miss. Jee throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Denisov. Denisov forces Jee back against the cage and clinches. Denisov successfully pulls guard.
Jee throws a big elbow that misses. Denisov throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Jee throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Denisov works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Jee looking to sit in guard and control but Denisov gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jee is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Denisov is controlling him. Denisov with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jee tries to escape but Denisov is in control. We've been hearing that Denisov has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Denisov taking a breather here. Denisov passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Jee! Denisov working the ground and pound effectively.
Denisov with a couple of short strikes. Jee has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it. Denisov lands with some strikes. Denisov has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Denisov in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
Jee is rocked! Jee tries to lock up and control but Denisov gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. The referee warns Jee that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Jee is still in real trouble! Can Denisov finish him? Denisov scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Jee?
Denisov postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Jee badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Denisov around the waist but Denisov pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Denisov is the winner by TKO! Denisov jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denis Denisov! Denis Denisov seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website. Dar Jee spoke after the fight, saying 'Well that was disappointing'.
