The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bennett tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Bennett changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hradek looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hradek wants to control but Bennett postures up.
Hradek isn't going anywhere.
Hradek tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Bennett wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hradek is looking for a triangle but Bennett pushes his legs off easily.
Bennett seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Hradek felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Hradek tries to buck Bennett off but Bennett is having none of it.
Hradek is trying to control Bennett's posture but Bennett avoids it.

Hradek is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

Jan Hradek really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Fenrir Fightgear - Anno 2013 logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
