Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Don Kras (ranked 5495 p4p, 4940 weight class) and Braden Moore (ranked 550 p4p, 506 weight class). Braden Moore has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Don Kras's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 6 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Don Kras! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Braden Moore! The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Aleksandr Martynov and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore misses with an attempted mid kick.
Kras seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Kras shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Moore as he jumps to the side. Don Kras seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kras fails with a takedown attempt. Moore lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
It looks like Don Kras has been cut. Moore has Kras up against the cage in a clinch.
Kras creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Moore's defenses. Kras throws a head punch that misses. Moore pulls guard successfully.
Kras preventing the sweep. Kras is looking to work some ground and pound but Moore has wrist control. Kras preventing the sweep. Kras throws a strike but Moore rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Moore is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore passes easily into side control. Nice work. Moore is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Kras has escaped the position, nice work there. Kras on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kras tries to get out of the position. Kras wants to get back to his feet but Moore drags him back down. Kras knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Moore on the ground. Moore stands up and beckons Kras to his feet. Moore fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kras to the ground. Moore is now in Kras's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kras is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moore is controlling him. Moore has gone for a leg lock! Kras slips out almost immediately though and dives into Moore's guard. Moore tries to strike from the bottom.
Moore is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Kras is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Kras wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving. Kras looking to sit in guard and control but Moore gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore wants to control from the top but Kras keeps moving. Moore is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Moore pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kras is keeping the position for now. Moore trying to control but Kras is working from the bottom.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Moore throwing strikes but missing. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moore accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Moore content to stall in guard here. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Kras is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Moore is stalling in the full guard. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Braden Moore dominated that round. The cut man is working on Don Kras's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. Moore catches Kras with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Moore clinches up with Kras and pushes him back against the cage. Moore jumps into guard, dragging Kras to the mat.
Moore being controlled here, momentarily. Moore preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Moore tries to land a sweep but no joy. Kras engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Moore is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Our spies down at at Average Joe�s Gym inform us that Moore has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off?
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore striking off his back but it's not causing Kras any problems. Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kras. Kras controls from within his opponent's guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Moore is on top in guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moore throwing strikes from guard but Kras blocks nicely. Moore wants to pass the guard but Kras is keeping the position. Moore wants to control from the top but Kras keeps moving. Moore has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Moore passes Kras's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore throws a strike but Kras avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Moore slips nicely into half guard. Moore trying to mount his opponent but Kras defends it. Moore keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Moore wants to control but Kras is keeping him busy. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Moore not doing much here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. Don Kras is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kras with a poor takedown and Moore counters with a nice body shot. Moore slaps away a takedown attempt from Kras, before circling back to the center of the mat. Moore drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Kras defends it well. Kras darts in looking for a takedown but Moore gets double underhooks and turns Kras into the cage. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Don Kras. That's going to take a lot out of him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Moore drags the fight down to the ground.
Braden Moore has got the better of the ground game so far. Kras postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kras might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Moore wants to sweep but no luck. Moore trying to keep a closed guard but Kras is proving a slippery customer.
Kras has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Kras postures up in Moore's guard and throws a big left but Moore blocks it. And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Braden Moore showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Don Kras's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! Moore's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Moore duly obliges. Kras dives in for a single leg takedown but Moore sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Kras landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Moore looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Kras breaks from the clinch.
Moore gets a double leg takedown into Kras's guard. Kras has his feet on Moore's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Moore gets caught flat footed, as Kras shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Moore scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Kras changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Kras working the ground and pound from side control. Moore takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Kras creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Moore sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kras wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moore keeps working. Moore takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Kras throwing strikes but Moore manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Moore is looking to take a break and control but Kras is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Sloppy strikes there by Moore. Kras pushes Moore away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Moore gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Moore trying to control the action but Kras is working from the bottom. Don Kras has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Moore is staying tight to Kras's torso, preventing him from escaping. Moore tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Moore has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Moore swings around for an armbar but Kras sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Moore's guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore keeping moving, preventing Kras from controlling successfully. Moore is trying to control the position but Kras postures up. Kras is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Kras postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Kras in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Kras trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kras throwing strikes from guard but Moore blocks nicely. Kras throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moore works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kras tries to free his leg and advance position but Moore is retaining full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Moore holds on and takes a little breather. Kras stands up from Moore's guard - Kras perhaps looking for a knockout. Kras shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Kras trying to control the position from guard on top but Moore is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Kras missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Moore has a closed guard, preventing Kras from standing up. Moore working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Kras. Braden Moore is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Moore trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kras's guard.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Kras. I think Moore has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
